Stetson Bennett wasn’t the most hyped quarterback coming into Saturday’s Georgia vs. Tennessee game. Hendon Hooker, by all accounts, is leading the Heisman Trophy race.

However, Bennett came out firing Saturday against the Vols defense. First, Bennett scrambled for a 13-yard touchdown early in the first quarter to give Georgia a 7-3 lead.

Then, he came out and threw a perfect pass to Ladd McConkey 2 drives later.

Georgia started the drive on Tennessee’s 37-yard line, and Bennett went for the kill shot with the long touchdown pass on the first play. McConkey’s out-and-up route worked to perfection.

Georgia leads Tennessee 14-3 with a little over 2 minutes left in the first quarter.
