Devin Leary is gearing up for the 2023 season at Kentucky after an injury-shortened campaign a year ago. If he can find the type of form he displayed during the 2021 season at NC State, the Wildcats could eclipse their expected win total this fall.

At this point, Kentucky’s win total for 2023 is set at 7. Interested fans who want to get in on the action can take advantage of our special DraftKings Kentucky promo code.

With Leary poised to bounce back this fall, he was officially named to the 2023 Comeback Player of the Year Award watch list. He was joined on that list by senior defensive back Jalen Geiger and senior running back Ramon Jefferson of the Wildcats.

The award has been handed out since 2018 and annually recognizes college football student-athletes for overcoming injury, illness or other circumstances.

Leary threw for 1,265 yards and 11 touchdowns a season ago before suffering a tear in his right pectoralis major. During the 2021 season, he threw for 3,400 yards and 35 touchdowns while appearing in 12 games.

Geiger returns to the field after tearing the patellar tendon in his left knee. Jefferson transferred into the Kentucky program a season ago but tore his left ACL in the season opener.

Hopefully those players stay healthy and keep Kentucky on a path to success this fall.
