Fresh off losing offensive line coach Eric Wolford to Alabama, it appears the Cats are losing another key staffer.

According to On3 Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Kentucky is set to lose quality control staffer Jovon Bouknight to Marshall. Upon joining the Thundering Herd, Bouknight will coach the wide receivers. Bouknight was demoted to quality control following his DUI arrest.

Bouknight has been at Kentucky for 2 seasons after coming over from Oregon, where he coached the wide receivers. Bouknight is a former All-American wide receiver at Wyoming.

Bouknight ranks 20th all time in NCAA history in receiving yards (3,626) and career receptions (250). He is still the school’s all-time leader in both all-purpose yards (5,921) and kickoff return yards (2,016).

During his coaching career, Bouknight has coached at Oregon, Texas Tech, Utah State and Wyoming.
