Brian Kelly reportedly contacted current SEC OC for same position at LSU

Brian Kelly is still looking to make a couple of important hires at LSU — his offensive and defensive coordinators.
Per FootballScoop.com, Kelly is targeting an OC from Cincinnati and a DC from the NFL ranks.
But, according to the FootballScoop.com report, Kelly reached out to Georgia OC Todd Monken. Monken is expected to remain in Athens, though:
Multiple sources likewise told FootballScoop that Kelly had discussed the offensive coordinator position with Georgia play-caller Todd Monken, though sources said Monken has expressed a desire to remain with the Bulldogs.
Monken is in his second season on Georgia’s staff as the offensive coordinator. His Bulldogs are in the College Football Playoff.
He seems to have things running pretty smoothly in Athens, so Kelly will seemingly have to look elsewhere for his offensive coordinator in Baton Rouge.
