Florida will face Vanderbilt on Saturday on the back of a three-game winning streak.

There was a little hiccup, though, on the Gators’ way to Nashville. Because of what’s being called a “travel mix-up” by Gators Online’s Zach Abolverdi, three Gators players will be missing their jerseys: Boogie Fland, Xaivian Lee, and Micah Handlogten.

Florida will be hoping that missing jerseys for three players is the only thing that goes wrong for it against Vandy, who have emerged as one of the nation’s top teams in Mark Byington’s second season at the helm.

Over the past few games, though, things have gone well for the defending NCAA champions. After a 76-74 loss to Mizzou, the Gators kicked off their winning streak with a 92-77 win over Georgia. Then came a 91-67 victory over Tennessee and a 96-79 win at Oklahoma.

On the other side of the court, the Commodores are looking to recover from their first loss. They dropped an 80-64 decision to Texas on Wednesday to fall to 16-1 on the season.

Florida and Vandy are tied with three other teams with a 3-1 SEC record. After Saturday’s game, the Gators return home to face LSU on Wednesday and Auburn on Jan. 24.
