Jacksonville Jaguars teammates exchange alma mater trash talk ahead of Cocktail Party
On the same field where the game will be played on Saturday, four Jacksonville Jaguars teammates took part in spirited trash talk from their respective sides, Georgia and Florida.
Much of the talk appeared to be between Florida’s Lerentee McCray and Georgia’s Terry Godin, but Georgia’s Abry Jones and Florida’s Taven Bryan also weighed in as they exchanged memories and scores from games they were involved in, and the recent history. That’s been Georgia on a current two-game winning streak, which follows a Florida three-game winning streak.
“Yo, my first year, we beat y’all 49-3,” McCray said, which the score was actually 49-10 in 2008.
Replied Godwin, “But we beat y’all 45-6,” which was another incorrect score, as he might have referred to the 2017 game, which was 42-7. Then they both countered with “I didn’t play in that game,” for the other side.
It’s a good reminder to never let facts get in the way of some good trash talking between opponents turned teammates.

Florida Georgia game #Jaguars. This was one of the most fun shoots we’ve ever done. We also lost all control. Could hardly start recording before the trash talk started. @GeorgiaFootball @GatorsFB @Jaguars @ActionSportsJax @ESPN690Jax pic.twitter.com/q4jPohHkAQ
