Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss always seem to have a bit more of an edge when taking on Texas A&M.

Last season, the Rebels and Aggies went down to the wire with Ole Miss coming out on top 31-28. It seems like this year’s game is also gearing up to be a big one.

During the SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday, Kiffin explained what about the Texas A&M game brings out a little more fire every year.

“That’s a good question. I don’t know,” Kiffin said. “The Aggies, I think they’ve got a great program and do a phenomenal job obviously of raising money and getting great players. I don’t have any issues with them. Really hard place to play, at Alabama and now here. No issues. Should be one of the top programs in the country.”

The Aggies got back on track with a win last week after losing 2 straight, and now they’re gearing up to try and get the signature win they’ve been searching for.

But Ole Miss is looking to stay locked in through a tough November stretch as the Rebels try to find their way to an SEC Championship and possibly further.
