Ole Miss is gearing up for a major 2024 season under Lane Kiffin, but the Rebels jumpstarted the 2025 recruiting class Saturday night.

Ole Miss picked up its first commitment for the 2025 recruiting cycle via a pledge from linebacker Corey Amos. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds out of Opelousas (LA) High School, Amos held other key offers from Mississippi State, Miami, Michigan and Penn State before committing to Kiffin’s program.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Amos is a 4-star prospect and the No. 30 LB in the country for the 2025 recruiting class. He’s also the 6th overall player from Louisiana.
