The NFL league year, and free agency, begins at 4 p.m. ET Wednesday.

Any full-breadth coverage of SEC football must at least give a nod to the NFL, as the conference places more players into the league than any other.

Case in point: All 14 current SEC members can claim at least one NFL player slated to become an unrestricted free agent.

Among SEC programs, Alabama claims the most such players with nine — followed closely by Florida (8), LSU (8) and Georgia (7).

By our count, there are 69 former SEC players entering unrestricted free agency during this NFL year. (We’ve chosen to adopt all Missouri and Texas A&M players for simplicity, but obviously some of them didn’t play in the SEC.) Here they are, all in one place:
