The SEC proved that they are the premier conference in college football after a 13-1 start to the 2018 season.

On Monday night, ESPN released their Week 2 power rankings, and six SEC teams made the list.

At No. 1, predictably, was Alabama. They impressed in Week 1 with a 51-14 win over Louisville and they will take on Arkansas State at 3:30 PM ET on Saturday.

Auburn came in at No. 3 on the list after defeating No. 6 Washington. They will play Alabama State at 7:30 PM ET on Saturday.

No. 7 on the list featured the Georgia Bulldogs, who blew out Austin Peay 45-0 in Week 1. They start SEC play at South Carolina this week, and kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 PM ET.

LSU turned some heads with their 33-17 win over No. 8 Miami on Saturday night and they come in at No. 11 on ESPN’s power rankings. They play Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday at 7 PM ET.

At No. 15, Mississippi State makes an appearance after defeating Stephen F. Austin 63-6 in Week 1. Joe Moorhead coached well in his debut even without suspended star QB Nick Fitzgerald on the field. The Bulldogs play at Kansas State on Saturday at noon.

Finally, Florida comes in at No. 21 for Week 2. They defeated Charleston Southern 53-6 and QB Feleipe Franks threw five touchdowns in just the first half. They start SEC play in Week 2 against Kentucky on Saturday at 7:30 PM ET.
