AP Poll vs. Coaches Poll: Comparing the Week 2 polls
A record-setting 10 SEC teams were ranked in this week’s Associated Press poll, including every single SEC West team.
Everyone knew Texas A&M would jump into the top 25 when it upset No. 15 Arizona State Saturday night, but not many saw Mississippi State sliding in at No. 25. What a division!
How impressed was the Associated Press with TAMU? The Aggies went from “also receiving votes” at No. 27 to No. 16, jumping Ole Miss, Arkansas and Mississippi State in their own division.
