The buzzword of the off-season has been the NCAA transfer portal, and another former elite high school prospect has reportedly entered it.

Dabo Swinney wouldn’t confirm whether Tigers RB Tavien Feaster has entered the portal, but he did say that he is considering transferring. Swinney was in Atlanta for the MacArthur Trophy presentation at the College Football Hall of Fame Wednesday.

“I don’t have any confirmation on that. I think it is something he is thinking about,” Swinney said, via TigerNet.com. “There is nothing definitive on it. I certainly hope he doesn’t, but it is up to him.”

Feaster is on track to graduate this summer and has one year of eligibility remaining. During his three-year career with the Tigers, Feaster has played in 41 games and has recorded 1,330 rushing yards and 15 TDs.

The Spartanburg, South Carolina, native was rated a 4-star prospect exiting high school and was ranked as the nation’s No. 1 APB and the state’s No. 1 overall prospect in the class of 2016, per 247Sports Composite Rankings.

If he decides to transfer, Feaster would be immediately eligible in 2019, and several SEC teams could certainly use him. Clemson returns starter Travis Etienne, who rushed for 1,658 yards and 24 TDs in 2018.
