Following a 42-28 victory against Florida, LSU moved up one spot to No. 2 in the ESPN SEC power rankings. LSU replaced Georgia, who slipped to No. 3 after a 20-17  overtime loss to South Carolina at home in Week 7.

Despite losing at LSU, Florida stayed at No. 4. Alabama remained No. 1 after a 47-28 victory against Texas A&M.

After back-to-back weeks of SEC teams ranked in the Top 10 meeting, the conference won’t have even two ranked teams squaring off in Week 8. Alabama will host Tennessee while Georgia is looking to bounce back against Kentucky.

LSU, Florida and Auburn will all be on the road facing division opponents this weekend.
