The long-winded recruitment of 2017 five-star prospect Dylan Moses is finally nearing an end. Moses of course made headlines years ago when both Alabama and LSU offered him as a seventh grade student out of Louisiana. Moses has been called the “LeBron James of football” by at least one recruiting analyst.

After committing to LSU as a sophomore, Moses eventually decommitted from the Tigers during his junior season but was still believed to be leaning toward his in-state school. Of course Moses will finish his high school career at Florida’s IMG Academy but surely his ties to Louisiana will be in the back of his mind during his recruitment. Right?

When all’s said and done, perhaps not.

Soon to begin his senior season of high school football, Moses announced the destination of his five official visits for this fall and LSU is nowhere to be found:

This list is not set in stone and could be changed however the Tigers’ absence is incredibly noticeable. While not eliminating them from his recruitment, it’s hard to see the visit list as a good indication for LSU moving forward.

For fans of the Tigers, the only thing worse than Moses not going to LSU would be him going to division rival Alabama. As if this annual rivalry could get any more contentious, Moses may find a way to do just that.
