Kirk Herbstreit really liked what he saw from Alabama and Georgia over the weekend.

There were 7 teams in total who stood out to Herbstreit. The Crimson Tide came in at No. 2 and the Bulldogs were No. 6.

Alabama held off the LSU offense in Tuscaloosa for a 42-28. Georgia beat No. 12 Missouri 30-21 in Athens to remain undefeated on the year.

Future SEC program Texas made the cut as well after beating Kansas State 33-30 after the Wildcats were stopped on 4th down in overtime.

Washington, Oklahoma State, Clemson, and Army were also featured on the list. Here’s how Herbie ranked the others:

  • No. 1: Washington
  • No. 2: Alabama
  • No. 3: Oklahoma State
  • No. 4: Clemson
  • No. 5: Texas
  • No. 6: Georgia
  • No. 7: Army

Plenty of great games took place in Week 10.

Washington handed USC its 3rd loss of the season. Oklahoma State won the final Bedlam game before Oklahoma joins the SEC in 2024. Clemson upset Notre Dame at Memorial Stadium.

Army ended Air Force’s undefeated season with a 23-3 win.
