Now that the NFL Combine and a handful of pro days have come and gone, analysts are making the necessary changes to their mock drafts.

This week, NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein updated his first-round projections, and eight SEC players made the cut.

As you can see below, Alabama DB Minkah Fitzpatrick falls out of the top five, but the latter part of the first round is full of SEC talent:

  • No. 7 — Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama — Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • No. 9 — Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia — San Francisco 49ers
  • No. 14 — Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama — Green Bay Packers
  • No. 19 — Taven Bryan, DL, Florida — Dallas Cowboys
  • No. 20 — Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama — Detroit Lions
  • No. 26 — Isaiah Wynn, OL, Georgia — Atlanta Falcons
  • No. 28 — Ronnie Harrison, DB, Alabama — Pittsburgh Steelers
  • No. 29 — DJ Chark, WR, LSU — Jacksonville Jaguars

There will still be some minor changes to the rankings ahead of April’s draft, especially as teams make trades and address their needs prior to next month.
