Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett was arrested early Saturday morning for operating a motor vehicle while impaired, according to Eleven Warriors. Two sources at the Columbus Police Department confirmed the news to the publication.

Eleven Warriors also reported that Barrett was cooperative and blew slightly over the Ohio legal limit of .08 blood-alcohol concentration.

Barrett was reportedly released to fellow quarterback Cardale Jones, Ohio State’s starter to begin the season. Jones gave Barrett a ride home.

ElevenWarriors is also reporting Barrett has been suspended for next week’s game against Minnesota.

The Buckeyes are currently ranked No. 1 in the country.
