Well, Alabama won yet another SEC Championship on Saturday and did so in convincing fashion, outgaining Florida 437-180 in total yards in its 29-15 victory. The Crimson Tide defense was dominant and the Gators were 0-for-11 on third down as a result.

The usual suspects for each team: RB Derrick Henry and WR Calvin Ridley for Alabama and WR Antonio Callaway for Florida did their thing, but there were also a few under-the-radar players that had an impact on this year’s conference title game. Here are a few:

Alabama WR ArDarius Stewart: Catching his second touchdown in as many weeks, Stewart made the play that broke the game open for Alabama. Stewart’s 32-yard touchdown reception from Jake Coker in the third quarter put the Tide up by two scores and took a lot of wind out of the Gators. It was Stewart’s fourth TD of the season. The sophomore has emerged as a reliable receiving threat.

Florida WR C.J. Worton: Worton has scored in both games he has caught a pass. Though the game was out of reach when Worton caught his 46-yard TD pass Saturday he made the reception with three defenders all over him for perhaps the game’s most impressive play.

Alabama LB Tim Williams: For the second game in a row, Williams recorded a sack for the Crimson Tide defense. He got to the quarterback twice on the day. Williams was a large part of Alabama’s front-seven that held the Gators to just 15 rushing yards on 21 attempts and racked up 5 sacks.

Florida DB Marcus Maye: A junior in the secondary who doesn’t get the attention received by teammates Vernon Hargreaves III and Jalen Tabor, Maye finished second on Florida’s defense with 9 tackles and added a fumble recovery and a QB hurry — his second-highest total of tackles.

Alabama WR Richard Mullaney: The senior helped the Tide pour it on with his 9-yard TD catch in the fourth quarter. It was his fifth TD of the season and second in the last three weeks. The senior enters the College Football Playoff with 34 receptions for 308 yards to go along with his five TDs.
