Much like the AP Top 25, voters in the Football Writers Association of America-National Football Foundation Super 16 poll have been quite impressed with the SEC this season.

The conference produced three of the top five teams in the rankings, headlined by Alabama at No. 1 and Georgia ranked second. LSU rounded out the top five. Those three SEC teams were the only squads to receive first-place votes, with Alabama grabbing 49 and Georgia and LSU garnering one apiece.

Two other SEC teams appeared in the poll — Auburn came in at No. 10, with surging Kentucky grabbing the final spot in the rankings. Texas A&M, South Carolina and Mississippi State also received votes.
