Evan Stewart is one of the best players currently available in the transfer portal.

The former Texas A&M wide receiver joined several of his fellow Aggies in the transfer portal soon after the end of the season, months after the firing of Jimbo Fisher. Stewart was one of Texas A&M’s top receivers during a 2023 season plagued with injury at the QB position.

Across his 2-season career in College Station Stewart has totaled 91 receptions for 1,183 yards and 6 touchdowns, with 4 of those touchdowns coming this past year.

And according to On3Sports’ Pete Nakos, a few programs have emerged as schools to watch for the former 5-star prospect. Namely: Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida State, Oregon and USC.

Nakos also reported that Alabama and Texas do not seem to be likely options for Stewart as of Dec. 27.

Ole Miss would be a very interesting landing spot for Stewart. The Rebels have already done plenty of work in the portal, adding some top-notch names on the defensive end as well as former South Carolina WR Juice Wells.

Tennessee would be interesting as well. The Vols will be quarterbacked by Nico Iamaleava next season, a former 5-star prospect and by many accounts, one of the best freshman talents in the country.
