Stephen A. Smith clearly has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to football.

Smith has already proven how little NFL football he watches, in a clip from December he spoke for nearly 20 seconds about a matchup between the Chargers and Chiefs and nearly the entire clip was wildly inaccurate — including his key matchup of Chargers tight end Hunter Henry (who was on injured reserve all season) and Kansas City linebacker Derrick Johnson (who was not on the roster this season).

Now the ESPN “analyst” has proven just how little college football he watched last season. On the other hand, maybe he’s just fake scouting for the NFL, which he clearly doesn’t keep a close eye on.

During a recent segment on ESPN, Smith offered up his latest gem. While talking about quarterback prospects Kyler Murray and Dwayne Haskins leading up to the NFL Draft, Smith noted that Haskins is ”more of a runner than a thrower.”

He quickly adds he could be wrong about that. Well, at least he got that part right.

If you didn’t follow Haskins’ career at Ohio State, the former Ohio State quarterback threw for 4,831 yards last season and 50 touchdowns. He rushed for only 108 yards. At least Smith was pretty close with his take.

Haskins’ passing numbers were good for the single-season Ohio State record, the single-season Big Ten record and he broke Drew Brees’ single-season passing touchdown mark in 2018.

Here is the full clip of Smith’s latest gaffe, in case you don’t believe someone this bad at their job is paid so well to do it:
