Auburn and Georgia looked like one of the top games in the SEC before the season. Now it’s still vital, only for different reasons, as each team attempts to shake off early losses.

Vegas installed the Tigers as a 1-point favorite against the nearby Bulldogs, which may need to win for coach Mark Richt to save his job.

Elsewhere in the SEC, Vanderbilt is a 3-point SEC favorite as the Commodores look for their second conference win of the coach Derek Mason era, while Kentucky seeks to avoid an epic collapse.

Oh, and Vegas anticipates BYU and Missouri will play after all, despite pledges by several Tigers that they will not participate in athletic events until a campus protest involving racial tensions is resolved.

The main feature remains Alabama, and will unless the Crimson Tide lose again. The Tide face yet another brutal opponent — on the road — but are better than a touchdown favorite against a ranked Mississippi State team.
