Penalties and losing largely went hand-in-hand during Saturday’s slate of SEC games.

LSU was the only team to win despite having committed more penalties than its opponent. Arkansas, Georgia, Missouri and South Carolina each fell after being whistled for more penalties.

Mississippi State, the conference’s least penalized team, committed just 3 penalties for 28 yards in its 45-17 win over Troy.
