LSU’s Death Valley continues to be a house of horrors for all opponents, but especially those brave enough to try their luck at one of college football’s most storied venues in the month of October.

A frenzied crowd of 101,720 was on hand Saturday night and again played a key role to help the Tigers dismantle Ole Miss 38-21 and extend their October winning streak at Tiger Stadium to 19 consecutive games, dating to 2009.

The Tigers didn’t have the largest SEC crowd in Week 8, however.

That honor went to Alabama, which sent 101,821 fans home happy with a thorough thumping of then-No. 6 Texas A&M.
