It was a tough Saturday for South Carolina, as the Gamecocks lost at Missouri, 34-12. The offense struggled, allowed 6 sacks to Missouri while getting only 286 total yards offense. It wasn’t much better for the defense, as the Gamecocks gave up 220 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground.

It has been a tough stretch for the Gamecocks, as they have lost 3 consecutive games in the SEC. After the game, coach Shane Beamer talked to reporters about the frustrations growing on the team, as well as how much he believes his team wants to be great.

It is getting late in the year if the Gamecocks are going to make a run to a bowl game, but there is still time for the Gamecocks. South Carolina is back in action next week against Texas A&M in what is a must-win if the Gamecocks want to go bowling.

The game against Texas A&M is in College Station, but it is the last road game of the season for the Gamecocks. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET and the game will be aired on ESPN.

The final 4 games are at home for South Carolina, so there is still a chance to become bowl eligible.
