Texas A&M center Bryce Foster is no longer with the program, according to a report.

That comes from 247Sports’ Carter Karels, who notes that Foster is not the only Aggie who was removed from Texas A&M’s 2024 roster on Tuesday. Reserve offensive lineman Dorian Hinton and backup defensive back Bobby Taylor also appear to have departed the program.

Karels’ report noted that none of those 3 players are currently in the NCAA transfer portal.

Foster arrived in College Station as a 4-star prospect in the class of 2021. He was the No. 66 overall player and the No. 5 interior offensive lineman in the country for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Foster started at center in 28 games for the Aggies over the past 3 seasons. However, he missed all of Texas A&M’s spring practice this offseason because he was with the Aggies’ track & field team as a shot-putter.

Foster earned freshman All-America honors for his play in 2021, but never fully regained that form after suffering a season-ending knee injury as a sophomore in 2022.

Texas A&M has seemingly already found its replacement for Foster at center. The Aggies earned a commitment from former Utah offensive lineman Kolinu’u Faaiu last weekend. Mark Nabou Jr. started at center for the Aggies for most of the spring and could compete for that role as well in the fall.
