Texas A&M went international with its latest recruit, a 6-foot-6 and 245 pound tight end recruit out of Sweden.

Theodor Ohrstrom is in the Class of 2023 and played at RIG Academy. He has a reported 12 offers, including Alabama and LSU among other national heavyweights. Ohrstrom is the fourth commitment of the Class of 2023 for the Aggies, and he’s rated the No. 14 tight end in the class, according to the 247Sports Composite. His finalists were Ohio State and LSU.

Ohrstrom became a major recruit through his travels with PPI Recruits, Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports reported. PPI has helped more than 80 international kids from 15 different countries earn Division I scholarships, and now Ohrstrom is among the latest. The group visited College Station twice this summer including once for camp.

“It’s a crazy culture,” Ohrstrom said of College Station. “The Texas football culture is unlike anything you experience here in Sweden. It’s really cool. I think that would be something crazy to be part of.”

Texas A&M assistant James Coley led the recruiting of Ohrstrom, who has only played football for 4 years.
