Paul Finebaum knows the Third Saturday in October about as well as anyone. The Tennessee alumnus and long-time Alabama radio host was back in Knoxville on Saturday for SEC Network’s “SEC Nation” pregame show on UT campus.

Most books have Tennessee an underdog by at least 7 points against Alabama this week. Barstool’s risk-free $1,000 bet is a great way to dip your toes into betting the Vols for the first time. New users get your first bet refunded, up to $1,000, if you lose the bet. Barstool Sportsbook is live in Tennessee. Click here to get started.

The SEC Nation crew, including Finebaum, has a lot of fun. For Saturday’s show, Finebaum did his best Undertaker entrance, rising from an orange-and-white coffin in a Tennessee jersey.

Like many of his media peers, Finebaum was down on Tennessee after the Jeremy Pruitt situation and transfer portal exodus that followed the coaching change. In Year 1 under Josh Heupel, the Volunteers exceeded expectations by making (and almost winning) a bowl game.

In Year 2, Heupel has the Vols undefeated (5-0), ranked in the top-10 (No. 6) and No. 2 in the nation in scoring (46.8 points per game) with a potential Heisman Trophy candidate at quarterback in Hendon Hooker.

Finebaum and other UT alumni have a lot to be excited about when it comes to the Vols. Tennessee will officially be declared back from the dead if it can take down Alabama.
