Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler suffered his second injury of 2016, and this one may end his season for good.

According to a report from The Chicago Tribune, Cutler may miss the remainder of the season due to a shoulder injury he sustained against the New York Giants last Sunday. Cutler finished the game, but now the Bears are trying to determine the severity of the injury.

A thumb injury caused the former Vanderbilt quarterback to miss five games earlier this season. He played for the Commodores from 2002-2005 before becoming the 11th overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft.

Cutler has completed 81 of 137 passes for 1,059 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions in five appearances this year. Chicago is 2-8 and may be looking to move Cutler after the season.
