With Week 2 officially in the books, let’s take a look at the best performances of the weekend with this week’s All-SEC team.

OFFENSE

QB Chad Kelly: Chad Kelly continues to prove that his troubled days might be over. Kelly, who was booted from Clemson for conduct detrimental to the team, has led Ole Miss to the nation’s No. 1 scoring offense (74.5 ppg) through the first two weeks of the 2015 season. That includes throwing for 346 yards on 20 of 25 passing and 4 touchdowns in the Rebels’ 73-21 win over Fresno State in Week 2. The junior gets his first real test in Week 3 when Ole Miss travels to Tuscaloosa to face the No. 2 Crimson Tide, whose defense has been limiting teams to an average of 271.5 yards per game.

RB Leonard Fournette: LSU running back Leonard Fournette opened the season with a statement game, rushing for 159 yards and accounting for all three Tigers touchdowns in their 21-19 win over Mississippi State. The sophomore scored on runs of 1, 26 and 18 yards. Despite playing one less game than the rest of the SEC, Fournette’s yardage against the Bulldogs already makes him the seventh-leading rusher in the conference. Expect him to be even higher on that list after LSU plays host to Auburn in Week 3.

RB Nick Chubb: Nick Chubb remains the SEC’s top rusher, thanks to an 189-yard performance against SEC East foe Vanderbilt. The sophomore from Cedartown, Ga., leads the SEC with 309 yards on the year, which lists him No. 4 overall in the nation. Chubb gets a crack at South Carolina’s sieve-like defensive front (No. 103 in nation for run defense, 207.5 ypg) in Week 3.

WR Quincy Adeboyejo: Quincy Adeboyejo was the biggest benefactor of quarterback Chad Kelly’s big day, or vice versa, as Ole Miss rolled up another 70-point score on an opponent. Adeboyejo hauled in 120 yards through the air and 3 touchdowns as the Rebels handily beat Fresno State, 73-21.

TE Hunter Henry: Hunter Henry followed up his 40-yard performance in Arkansas’s Week 1 route of Texas-El Paso with 117 yards in the Razorbacks’ upset loss to Toledo in Week 2. Go figure. The junior is the No.1 tight end in the SEC so far this season with 159 yards on 10 receptions.

Texas A&M OL: The Aggies offensive line held fast in Week 2 as Texas A&M used 503 total yards to dismantle Ball State, 56-23. Eight players carried the ball for A&M, rushed for 270 yards as a team, led by Kwame Etwi with 118 yards. Through the air, four different player threw passes, led by Kyler Allen with 126 yards and 4 touchdowns.

DEFENSE

DT Joey Ivie: Florida’s Joey Ivie picked up all three Gators sacks against East Carolina in Week 2, the last one being the biggest. The junior’s late take-down of Blake Kemp caused the Pirates quarterback to fumble, effectively ending the ECU comeback attempt at 31-24.

DL Charles Harris: Charles Harris bullied Arkansas State to the tune of 6 tackles (5 unassisted), 4.5 tackles for loss adding up to 24 yards and as many sacks (2) as quarterback hurries as Missouri pulled out a 27-20 win over Arkansas State. The Tigers lead the nation in tackles-for-loss with 25, three more than the next-closest defense in Penn State.

LB Cassanova McKinzy: He returned to the Auburn lineup this week in a big way, with 13 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks and a forced fumble. None of the senior’s plays were bigger than his second sack, which dropped Jacksonville State quarterback Eli Jenkins for a 16-yard loss on third-and-goal during overtime.

LB Jordan Jenkins: His mom set a goal for him to get 7 tackles and 3 sacks in Week 2 against Vanderbilt. While he didn’t quite hit the sack number, the Bulldog linebacker finished the win with 11 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks in Georgia’s 31-14 win over the Commodores. Close enough. Jenkins’ 6.5 TFLs rank him tops in the country.

DB Todd Kelly Jr.: When the Tennessee defense was on, it couldn’t be stopped. Todd Kelly Jr. played a big part in that, snagging two Baker Mayfield passes. The sophomore also tallied 8 tackles, the third-highest mark on the team. Unfortunately for Kelly Jr. and the Volunteers, the defense couldn’t hold on for the win over Oklahoma.
