Nick Saban. Jim Harbaugh. Kirby Smart.

Those three coaches are competing to land 6-foot-4, 237-pound tight end Isaac Nauta.

The nation’s No. 1 tight end dropped his final three schools Sunday, including two SEC schools.

Nauta plans to enroll early and will make his final decision public at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl game on Jan. 9.

Coach Mark Richt was heavily involved in his recruitment before getting fired. The 247Sports crystal ball has pegged Georgia as the favorite to sign the five-star tight end, and the fact that UGA is among the final three is strong evidence that the transition to Smart as head coach has not hurt the team in recruiting.

Nauta, a former Florida State commitment, has shown interest in a lot of schools throughout the process. It seems like he will be a tough player to predict.
