Three-star ILB TJ Brunson announced this morning his decommitment from Louisville.

Brunson committed to Louisville back in July, and he took his first official visit there earlier this month.

However, according to thestate.com, new South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp captured Brunson attention when he went straight to Brunson’s house after being announced as the Gamecocks head coach.

“It was a big deal for him to come by after his press conference,” Brunson said. “It makes a difference, like I’m a priority. It definitely makes a difference in their chances to get me.”

Brunson will make his official visit to South Carolina Jan. 15, and he is considering visiting Purdue, as well. He is expected to make an announcement soon after.

This weekend, Brunson played his final high school football game in the annual Shrine Bowl at Wofford College. He was named Defensive MVP of the game, and he racked up 13 tackles.

Brunson leads his team with 138 tackles.
