Former LSU WR Odell Beckham Jr. stars for the New York Giants, and now it’s possible that his cousin, Terron, could play in the same stadium for the New York Jets.

After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Associated Press reports that Terron Beckham has earned a tryout with the Jets at their upcoming rookie mini-camp.

It’s an amazing accomplishment for the personal trainer who has not played football since high school.

At 5-foot-11 and 230 pounds, Beckham is built like a tank and is hoping to latch on as a running back.

We first learned of Terron Beckham’s NFL aspirations back in February.

A short snippet from that story reveals his phenomenal athletic condition:

Beckham is currently training at TEST Football Academy in New Jersey. TEST Sports Clubs CEO Kevin Dunn, who has done combine training for many NFL players, spoke with Kristian Dyer of Giants Wire at USA Today about his phenomenal exploits.

“At his most recent mock pro day he recorded a 4.50 in the 40, 11-feet-six-inches broad jump, 46-inch vertical – which breaks the all-time combine record of 45 inches – and put up a whopping 42 reps on the 225 bench test,” Dunn said. “I’ve never seen a display of athleticism like this in my 20-year career in this industry.”

He still remains a long shot to actually make the Jets, but that doesn’t mean he won’t continue to impress us as his journey continues:
