Vanderbilt players call on South Carolina players to help out homeless
Seven players from the Vanderbilt Commodores are issuing a challenge to the South Carolina Gamecocks, but this isn’t trash talk.
Vanderbilt conversion snapper and long snapper Jacob Schultz posted a video to his Twitter account Thursday afternoon in support of Soles4Souls, a not-for-profit organization based in the Nashville area that works to provide the homeless with clothes and shoes.

The seven Commodores seen will each get to know an area resident who is currently homeless and buy them a new pair of shoes. Schultz challenged seven South Carolina players to do the same. The two teams will face off Sept 1. in a Thursday night season opener.
