The Tigers and Gators aren’t even in pads, and they already want to hit each other.

Florida and LSU had to be separated more than an hour prior to kickoff in Baton Rouge as pregame jawing led to pushing and shoving.

Reporters and recruits on the field got different vantage points:

The game’s postponement due to Hurricane Matthew has led to trash talk on social media as well as traditional media.

LSU RB Derrius Guice implied this week that the Gators were avoiding the Tigers by rescheduling the game:

Tigers DE/LB Arden Key said that with so many injuries, Florida was scared to come to Baton Rouge:

“A lot of injuries,” Key said. “They were injured when we were about to play and then I guess they got a couple guys back and now they lost multiple guys. I watched the South Carolina game this past weekend. It was just injury after injury.

“I know they’re scared to come up here because they don’t have all their stars or whatnot. So, we feel comfortable.”

Florida CB Teez Tabor responded to the scared talk by reminding the Tigers they were supposed to come to Gainesville.
