Though the Dallas Cowboys lost 34-31 to the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Divisional Playoffs on Sunday, legendary NFL WR Cris Carter, a 2013 Hall of Fame inductee, liked what he saw from rookie QB Dak Prescott.

In the above video, Carter compares Prescott to Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks, calling the former Mississippi State quarterback better than the Seahawks’ Super Bowl champion signal caller:

“The playoff pressure didn’t get to him,” Carter said. “He matched one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time throw-for-throw.

“To me, he’s just a better version of Russell Wilson when he was a rookie.”

Prescott did indeed shine in the loss to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, throwing for 302 yards and three touchdowns.

Carter’s words likely don’t help ease the pain of yesterday’s disappointment, but it is good for Cowboys fans to know that their leader is on the right path.
