Social media still buzzing about Mississippi State knocking off UConn
No, it wasn’t some cruel April Fools joke — the Mississippi State women’s basketball team really did upset UConn 66-64 in overtime last night to end the Huskies’ incredible 111-game winning streak!
On Saturday morning, social media is still abuzz with praise for the Bulldogs, who will now participate in an all-SEC national championship game against South Carolina on Sunday.
Friday’s win will obviously go down as one of the biggest victories in program history, but it’s important for the Bulldogs to refocus and realize that the larger goal — a championship trophy — is still one win away.
