On the heels of SEC Media Days, the Vanderbilt Commodores are planning for the future. The Dores have scheduled a very spaced out home-and-home with the UNLV Rebels, with the Rebs coming to Nashville in 2019 and the Commodores heading to Las Vegas in 2023.

For those keeping score at home, this adds to the already prodigious list of growing non-conference games that Vandy has agreed to future dates with:

• Hawaii (2022-23)
• Nevada (2018)
• Colorado State (2020-21, 2025-26)
• Kansas State (2017, 2020)
• NC State (2026, 2028)
• Purdue (2019, 2029)
• Stanford (2021, 2024, 2025, 2027)
• Wake Forest (2022, 2023)

Last season, the Rebels were 4-8 overall and 3-5 in Mountain West Conference play. They will be the second team from the Mountain West conference to face Vanderbilt in the long history of the program. UNLV last made a bowl game in 2013, where they lost to North Texas in the Heart of Dallas Bowl by a score of 36-14.
