ESPN’s Jemele Hill, a SportsCenter anchor, caused quite a stir on Twitter Monday night, calling President Donald Trump a “white supremacist,” among other negative comments.

Though the tweets can still be found on Hill’s page, ESPN issued an apology for her statements on Tuesday.

In the statement, the network says the comments are not reflective of ESPN’s position and that Hill has been talked to about her actions:

A couple of the tweets, in which Hill criticizes the president, can be seen here:

Whether any additional punishment is given to Hill remains to be seen, but for now, it seems as if the matter might be closed.
