ESPN analyst Booger McFarland tweets takeaways from SEC's Week 5 action
Every Sunday, ESPN analyst Booger McFarland hops on Twitter to share his thoughts from the previous day’s SEC action.
This week, Alabama fans won’t be too happy with him, as the popular analyst says that the Crimson Tide are the No. 2 team in the country, even after a 66-3 blowout win over Ole Miss.
That’s right — McFarland was impressed with Clemson’s big win at Virginia Tech on Saturday night and has them in the No. 1 spot ahead of Bama:
Clemson- best team in CFB. Kelly Bryant poised cool and dynamic, defense is better than last year. Sneaky good running game great win

As for the SEC action from this weekend, here’s what McFarland had to say:
Alabama- 66-3. Could’ve been whatever they wanted against the team that ‘had their number’ – injuries starting to mount #2 team@in America
