Down goes No. 2 Clemson! Syracuse pulls shocking upset over Tigers
How’s that for Friday the 13th football?
Spooky, huh?
Syracuse (4-3) beat No. 2 Clemson (6-1) 27 to 24.
The Orange’s upset over Clemson doesn’t mean a whole lot, though, because the Tigers can still win the conference and get into the College Football Playoff much like last year after their loss to Pittsburgh.
It does, however, open the door for a bigger opportunity for two SEC teams to reach the playoff. No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Georgia appear to be in prime position to do so even with a loss at some point during the season, but don’t forget about No. 10 Auburn either.
Clemson QB Kelly Bryant left late in the second quarter due to an injury; so, it will be interesting to see how voters weigh this Friday night road loss.

How about Syracuse? What a game! Ran the ball over & over right at the strength of the Clemson defense & won the battle!
