ESPN college football writer Chris Low joined Fayetteville’s Sports Talk with Bo Mattingly on Tuesday afternoon to talk Arkansas football.

He also relayed an interesting thought to Mattingly about the future of SEC football — regarding in particular the conference’s coaches.

Or, lack of coaches, you could say.

Low said he didn’t think it would be crazy for someone to think that there could be six potential job openings in the SEC this off-season.

That doesn’t necessarily mean Low believes that six coaches will be fired, but of course, some could leave their respective programs on their own.

There is certainly plenty of pressure mounting in places like Fayetteville, Knoxville and Gainesville. And you could probably throw a couple other restless fan bases in there, so maybe Low isn’t far off with his assessment.

Six openings … that would be quite a shakeup.
