The updated salaries for coaches in the FBS were released on Wednesday, and the highest paid coach in college football will come as little surprise to fans.

USA TODAY shared the updated salaries, and the top-paid coach in all of college football is Alabama’s Nick Saban. Saban is making around $11.1 million this year and is the only coach with a reported salary north of $10 million in the country. Clemson’s Dabo Swinney is the second highest paid coach at $8.5 million a year.

It is safe to say Saban is not going anywhere anytime soon, but his buyout number is $26.9 million for this year.

The SEC currently claims just two of the top 10 highest paid coaches in the country, but 10 of the 14 coaches in the SEC rank inside the top 30 in the country. Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin is the second highest paid coach in the SEC and the 10th highest in the country.

Sumlin’s salary for this year is set at $5 million, and his buyout number is currently $10.4 million.
