The NFL released another round of fines Friday, and it looks like Zach Cunningham will have to pay for his hit on Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson.

The former Vanderbilt star and current LB for the Houston Texans was flagged for roughing the pass late in the first half. The Texans were able to escape that drive without allowing points, but the penalty will hit Cunningham’s bank account.

Josh Alper with Pro Football Talk shared the details of the fine:

Texans linebacker Zach Cunningham was flagged for roughing Russell Wilson late in the first half of the game. He was fined the same amount as Wagner ($18,231), although the penalty didn’t lead to any points because Seahawks tackle Germain Ifedi was flagged for holding and unnecessary roughness to stall the drive.

Cunningham finished his Commodores career with 256 total tackles, 36 TFL, and six sacks. He was drafted by the Texans in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Cunningham has 32 total tackles and a forced fumble in seven games this season.
