Notre Dame WR C.J. Sanders is reportedly set to transfer from the program for his final year of eligibility after graduating, and Vanderbilt could be a potential landing spot for the dynamic returner.

Tom Loy with 247 Sports shared the story that Sanders will transfer this summer after graduation. A landing spot has not been determined for Sanders, but Loy cited a source as indicating that Vanderbilt could be a potential landing spot.

Sanders is a speedy WR who has 26 catches for 293 yards and 2 TDs during his time with the Fighting Irish, but it is his ability in the return game that makes him an especially valuable asset. He has 86 kickoff returns in his Notre Dame career for 2,019 yards and 3 TDs while also returning 35 punts for 307 yards and another TD.

The bottom line is Sanders is a dynamic returner with impressive speed that would be a nice addition to the Commodores.
