Former NFL exec who once wanted to trade Peyton Manning thinks Lamar Jackson should switch to WR
Former Louisville QB Lamar Jackson is one of the most dynamic players ever to quarterback a college football team.
However, as he prepares for the 2018 NFL Draft, he’s facing questions about his future at the quarterback position. Many analysts think he should switch to either receiver or defensive back, but he doesn’t plan to do so.
On Monday, former Indianapolis Colts executive Bill Polian weighed in on the situation, saying Jackson is too small to play quarterback in the NFL:

“Again, [he’s] short, a little bit slight, and clearly not the thrower that the other guys are,” Polian says. “The accuracy isn’t there.”
Interestingly, Polian doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to evaluating quarterbacks. As you can see below, he once wanted to trade Peyton Manning:
With Bill Polian in the news yet again for being an incompetent talent evaluator, keep in my mind he owes most of his NFL success to Peyton Manning-a player he wanted to trade away in 2004. pic.twitter.com/Cn3kuvuWdR

That’s not the only questionable take Polian has had about quarterbacks over the years:

Based on what we know about Polian’s ability to analyze quarterbacks, it’s probably safe to say Jackson will be a Hall of Fame quarterback before all is said and done.
