Auburn’s spring practice session got off to a bad start with news that versatile WR Eli Stove had torn his ACL and may miss the entire 2018 season.

However, there’s still plenty of reason for optimism on The Plains, even without Stove, as the Tigers will return several talented receivers to the team this fall.

With Ryan Davis, Darius Slayton, Will Hastings and Craig-Myers all coming back, Craig-Myers is confident Auburn will have one of the best receiving corps in the entire SEC (via 247Sports):

“We can be a hell of a group,” Craig-Myers said on Thursday. “We’ve got everybody back. We got a lot of experience. We got young guys coming in that’s going to help. The sky is the limit for (us).”

Yes, Stove’s absence will hurt, but the Tigers do have a versatile group of receivers with plenty of experience.

If QB Jarrett Stidham can continue to improve, the Tigers can continue to put up lots of points this fall.
