ESPN released its first Football Power Index Thursday, which ranks every team in the country based on a variety of factors. You can see where every SEC team is ranked and their projected win/loss record here.

Interestingly, ESPN’s FPI doesn’t think many SEC schedules will be all that tough, as LSU is by far the SEC’s toughest schedule. The Tigers’ schedule is the only slate even ranked in the top 28 in the country.

LSU, of course, opens the season against Miami in Texas and will have SEC road games at Auburn, Florida, Arkansas and Texas A&M. The Tigers do host Georgia and Alabama, which certainly helps. The index ranks LSU at No. 26 to open the season but gives the Tigers just a .2 percent chance to win the conference. Ouch.

The top five schedules in the SEC all hail from the SEC West, which is no surprise. Vanderbilt at No. 6 is the East’s toughest slate in 2018.

Here’s how ESPN’s FPI ranks the SEC’s strength of schedule in 2018:

1. LSU (5 overall)
2. Texas A&M (29)
3. Alabama (30)
4. Mississippi State (31)
5. Auburn (34)
6. Vanderbilt (38)
7. Missouri (40)
8. Kentucky (41)
9. Georgia (43)
10. Ole Miss (46)
11. South Carolina (47)
12. Florida (55)
13. Tennessee (57)
14. Arkansas (60)
