LOOK: Atlanta weatherman has hilarious comeback for salty Georgia Tech media
Buzz Talk Radio, which covers Georgia Tech sports, didn’t like WSB meteorologist Brad Nitz providing a forecast video for G-Day while not mentioning Georgia Tech’s spring game. Tweeting about it, however, backfired on Buzz Talk.
Pointing out that WSB is based in Atlanta, Buzz Talk asked Nitz to think of the hometown team. Nitz complied, tweeting a forecast for Georgia Tech’s Friday night spring game, but not without a hilarious comeback.
“When you put 60,000-90,000 people in the stadium for the scrimmage I will do a forecast video for you, too,” Nitz tweeted. “Heck, I’ll come do it live at Bobby Dodd.”
Bulldogs fans have been known for strong G-Day turnouts during the Kirby Smart era. According to Nitz, the weather will be great in Athens for any fans planning to go to tomorrow’s game.
