Taulia Tagovailoa made headlines recently following his visit to Neyland Stadium but according to the Alabama quarterback commit and younger brother of potential Crimson Tide starting QB Tua Tagovailoa, the Alabama faithful have little to worry about when it comes to his commitment to the program.

The younger Tagovailoa is currently participating in The Opening Finals down in Arlington along with many of the nation’s finest high school prospects — many of which are currently committed to or considering playing for SEC programs. Tagovailoa is a four-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting cycle.

While in Texas participating in the high school all-star event, Taulia was asked about the level of his commitment to Nick Saban’s program following his visit to Rocky Top.

“I’m 100 percent committed to Alabama,” Tagovailoa said according to Josh Bean of AL.com. “I feel good about my commitment to Alabama.”

When asked to share his thoughts on Tennessee and the coaches on the Volunteers’ coaching staff, the Alabama commit continues to express nothing but respect for his potential future opponents.

“Going to Tennessee, it was great,” Tagovailoa added. “We’re real close to Coach Pruitt and Coach Tyson. Going there, it was a lot of fun.”

Read into that what you will but the Tagovailoa family appears set on the two brothers playing in Tuscaloosa for at least a season.
